Now Available: Retail Pro 9.4
Retail Pro International is pleased to announce the availability of the new Update Release Cycle (URC) for Retail Pro 9.40.4.133.
This URC for Retail Pro 9.4 is a one of our larger releases and includes both application updates for issues encountered, as well as some requested changes in functionality.

What’s New in Retail Pro 9.4
In addition to the general maintenance nature of this release, the following areas have been updated:
Receipt Designs for B S Card Services Users
Retailers in Europe using the B S EFT Plugin can now more easily configure receipt designs with special text block fields instead of individual EFT fields.
EFT Support for Canada
Retailers in Canada can now leverage Cayan’s Genius integrated payment platform with Retail Pro. This will also enable you to print receipts in the language associated with the customer’s card.
Package Item Reports and Associate Commissions
Beginning with this release, several reports have been modified so that the components take Associates and Activity Percentages from the package item, and each of the five Associate’s commissions are spread relative to each component's extended price.
Leftover Amounts in Global Discounts
When doing a global discount, there will sometimes be a penny or two left over after doing the spread. Retail Pro 9 now has a preference that will zero out any amounts that are left over after doing a global discount.
Purging Archived Sales Orders
You can now purge archived sales orders from the command line, which enables you to automate a task to regularly purge archived SOs.
Loyalty Update
This update also fixed an issue which could cause a customer’s loyalty points to incorrectly double, giving more loyalty points than the customer is entitled.

Final Release for Retail Pro 9.3
In addition, Retail Pro International has also released latest and final update/patch for Retail Pro 9.3.
With this release, Retail Pro 9.3 is at the end of its life as an active release. Retail Pro 9.3 is officially being moved to the state of ‘restricted maintenance’ (RM). As an RM product, all future modifications performed on Retail Pro 9.3 will be done at Retail Pro International’s discretion on a time and materials basis.
All future general updates/patches for Retail Pro 9 will be provided for Retail Pro 9.4 only.
