Prism Administration Console Guide
Node Preferences > Language and Locale (Regional Settings)
In Node Preferences > Language and Locale, you can change regional settings. When installing the RP Prism server, users must select a default language and default region for regional settings. The region that is selected during installation determines the defaults for date, time, decimals, etc. In the Language & Locale preference area, you can change the default language and default regional settings if necessary; however, users are advised to exercise caution in making changes to regional settings and to carefully consider the potential impact of the changes on all users of the system. In addition, in this area of preferences you can change the number of decimal places used when displaying numbers, currency, tax, etc.
Regional Settings
Regional settings determine things like the following:
- Date and time formats
- Number of decimals for price, cost and tax
- Whether to use a comma or a period to separate groups of numbers
- The currency symbol to use and its position
Editing Regional Settings
You can only edit the following:
- Default Language
- Preset Regional Settings
- No of Decimals (tax, price, cost, number, currency)
