In this area of preferences, configure settings related to the email server used to:

  • Email a copy of the receipt to the customer instead or in addition to printing a physical receipt.
  • Email a purchase order, ASN, voucher, or transfer slip to one or more user-entered email addresses (e.g., email a PO to a vendor).

Requirements

  • Email Server preferences must be configured with the correct hostname of the email server and the port number on which the email server is listening.
  • In addition to the email server preferences, Node Preferences > Hardware > Print preferences must be configured.
