Global Preferences

Global Preferences are preferences that are typically applied to all subsidiaries and stores. The settings in Global Preferences are the same for all machines in the enterprise; therefore, you won't see the Node Selection area when editing Global Preferences. In contrast, the settings in Node Preferences apply only to the selected node context (i.e. Sub or Store). When you edit Node Preferences, the top part of the screen shows the Node Selection area, enabling you to drill down to the desired Sub, Store or Workstation.

Global Preferences are divided into the following areas:

• Season
• Days in Transit
• Currency > General
• Currency > Exchange Rate
• Corporate Regions > General
• Corporate Regions > Options
