4.2 Transaction Form

When you log in, a new transaction form is displayed, ready for editing. 

 
New transaction form UI elements

Navigation ELement	Function
	Retail Pro button. Click to display the main menu for the app.
	Cancel transaction. Enabled when information (e.g., an item or customer) is entered on the transaction.
	Hold transaction.
	Unhold transaction.
	In the upper-right corner of the transaction form, displays the Transaction Menu. On the right-side of the item description, displays the Item Menu.
	With the cursor in the Item Lookup field, scan or enter the UPC. The current Item Type is shown (Sale, Return, or Order).
	For the item, displays the Discount Menu with options to apply a discount percentage, amount, or specific price.
	Switch to Item Lookup tab to scan items.
	Switch from Item View to Customer View. In Customer View you can add or remove a customer. If the customer has an image assigned, that image will be displayed.
	View customer details.
	Add a new customer.
	Tender Transaction. The Amount Due is shown on the button.
	Log out. This option is available from the Main Menu.
	Print record.
	Copy record.
	New record.
	Upload record.
