Customer and Customer History Columns

Prism enables users to customize grid layouts in many program areas. Among the areas where grids can be customized is Customers. You can specify the columns displayed in the UI and select columns that can be added on the fly by the user when working in that area. Define grid formats in Admin Console > Preferences & Settings > Grid Formats.  You can customize grids for the following areas related to Customers:

  • Customer History
  • Customer Lookup

Customer History Columns

Currency Name STRING(20) Currency name.
Description 1 - Description 4 STRING(20) Item description fields.
Doc No STRING(10) Document number.
Doc Qty NUMBER(10,3) Document quantity.
Doc Price NUMBER(16,4) Document price.
Item Price with Tax NUMBER(16,4) Item price with tax.
Item Type NUMBER(1) Item Type. 1 = Sale, 2 = Return, 3 = Order, 4 = Exchange
Loyalty Earned NUMBER(16,4) Number of loyalty points earned from purchasing the item.
Price in Points NUMBER(16,4) Item price in terms of Loyalty points.
Quantity per Case NUMBER(10,3) Quantity per case.
Sbs No NUMBER(5) Subsidiary number.
Size STRING(8) Item size.
Store No NUMBER(5) Store number
UPC NUMBER(18) Universal product code.

Customer Lookup Columns

Column Label Type(length) Description
Accept Checks NUMBER(1) 0 = checks not accepted, 1 = checks accepted.
Accounting System Id NUMBER(10) Identifies the accounting system in use and to which the customer information will be sent.
Active NUMBER(1) 0 = inactive, 1 = active
Address 1 - Address 6 STRING(40) Address fields.
Allowed Tenders STRING(20) A concatenated string listing the customer's allowed tenders.
AR Flag NUMBER(1) Accounts Receivable flag. (used to indicate the customer record should be sent to accounting link).
Company STRING(25) The name of the customer's company.
Created By STRING(30) Employee who created the customer record.
Created Datetime TIMESTAMP(0) WIITH TIME ZONE Date and time the customer record was created.
Credit Limit NUMBER(16,4) Customer credit limit.
Credit Used NUMBER(16,4) The amount of the customer's credit that has already been used.
Customer Id NUMBER(10) Identifies the customer. Note: By default, Customer ID must unique, but a preference can be set to allow duplicate Customer ID.
Detax NUMBER(1) Detax status.
Email Address STRING(100) Customer email address.
First Name STRING(30) Customer first name.
First Sale Date DATE The date of the customer's first purchase.
Full Name STRING(30) Customer full name.
Household Code NUMBER(10) Household code. This enables retailers to identify, for marketing purposes, customers who are part of the same family or group.
Info 1 - Info 2 STRING(20) Legacy fields from previous versions of Retail Pro.
Last Name STRING(30) Customer last name.
Last Order Date DATE The date of the customer's most recent order.
Last Return Date DATE The date of the customer's most recent return.
Last Sale Amt NUMBER(16,4) The amount of the customer's most recent sale.
Last Sale Date DATE The date of the customer's most recent sale.
Loyalty Accumulated NUMBER(16,4) The total amount of customer loyalty points awarded to the customer (point-based programs).
Loyalty Balance NUMBER(16,4) The customer's currently loyalty points balance.
Loyalty Enroll Date DATE The date the customer enrolled in the customer loyalty program.
Loyalty Locked NUMBER(1) If selected, indicates the customer's loyalty level and opt-in status are locked. Only a user with the required permissions can unlock and make changes.
Loyalty Opt-In NUMBER(1) Customer's loyalty opt-in status: Enrolled or not enrolled. 0 = not enrolled, 1 = enrolled.
Mark 1 - Mark 2 STRING(4) Legacy fields used in previous versions of Retail Pro.
Max Disc Perc NUMBER(16,4) The maximum discount percentage that the customer can receive as a result of all discounts (e.g. Customer Discount + Promotion Discount).
Modified By STRING(30) Employee who last modified the customer record.
Modified Datetime TIMESTAMP(0) WIITH TIME ZONE Date and time the customer record was most recently changed.
Order Item Count NUMBER(10) Total number of units ordered by the customer.
Phone STRING(30) Customer primary phone number.
Post Date DATE Date the customer record was posted to the RIL database.
Postal Code STRING(10) The ZIP or postal code for the item.
Return Item Count NUMBER(10) The total number of units returned by the customer.
Sale Item Count NUMBER(10) The total number of units purchased by the customer.
Security Lvl NUMBER(5) The security level assigned to the customer in RIL. Note: Customer security levels are not currently available in Prism.
Share Type NUMBER(5)

Global: Global customers are communicated to all active sub\store locations set within ECM.
Local: Local Customers are only communicated to stores within the customer defined base subsidiary. Note: There are restrictions on users' ability to assign a region\district to a local customer.
Region: Regional customers are communicated to all sub\store locations for that associated region. If the customer is flagged as a regional customer, but is not given a region or district, that customer will be treated as a local customer and will not be communicated to any other location.
Non-Shared: Any customer that is marked Non-Shared will not be communicated to any other store locations.

Shipping Priority NUMBER(5) Shipping priority (Low, Medium, High)
Station CHAR(1) Station identifier.
Store Code STRING(5) The store code of the store where the customer was created.
Store Credit NUMBER(16,4) The customer's current store credit balance.
Store Name STRING(40) The name of the store where the customer was created.
Store Number NUMBER(5) The store number of the store where the customer was created.
Subsidiary Name STRING(20) The name of the subsidiary where the customer was created.
Subsidiary Number NUMBER(5)( The subsidiary of the store where the customer record was created.
Suggested Disc Perc NUMBER(16,4) In the Customer Lookup area, the label will display "Suggested Disc Perc"; however, in the customer record, the field is Discount %. This is the discount amount that the customer will receive, by default (provided it is not overridden by other factors).
Tax Area Sid NUMBER(19) Identifies the tax area assigned to the customer.
Title STRING(15) Title (e.g. Mr., Mrs., Ms., Dr.). The Title field
Total Transactions NUMBER(10) Total number of transactions.
UDF String 1 - UDF String 18 STRING(50) Customer user-defined fields.
Ytd Sale NUMBER(16,4) Year-to-date sales.
