Error "License not Validated" when starting Monetra Administrator or client

After having newly installed the retail Pro EFT Link software, the error "License not Validated" comes up when trying to start the Monetra Administrator or Monetra Client.

 To remedy this problem, perform the following steps:

 1. Open the offline_Licenses.xml file that you downloaded from the RPOrders Website for this customer's account.

 2. You will see 2 lines close to the top that look something like this:

  40903-0101

  Wf99ab8

These are the 'username' and password for the account.

Write down the values in both lines. 

  1. Start the Monetra Installer ( ‘Start' > ‘All Programs' > ‘Monetra' > 'Monetra Installer').
  2. Fill in the Username and password retrieved in #2 and click ‘Next'
  3. You will see all the Monetra Modules that are installed.
  4. Select the Monetra Admin package in the list, then click ‘Update'. After a few seconds, it should report ‘License successfully Updated'.
  5. Select the Monetra Client package in the list, then click ‘Update. After a few seconds, it should report ‘License successfully Updated'.
  6. Click ‘Exit' to exit the Monetra Installer.

You sould now be able to configure your account.

 

Note:

1) It is possible that you see the following message when trying to go into the Monetra Installer:

 

If so, click 'Continue', to update the installer. After that is done, continue with step #5.

 

2) Should you have to update the monetra Installer to a new version (previous step), it is possible that you encounter the following error message:

 

In that case, follow the steps below:

1) Close the Monetra Installer.

2) Open your web browser, and navigate to http://www.monetra.com/content/downloads.html, click on the arrow next to 'Windows', and

select the appropriate windows dowload. This way, you will manually download the latest Monetra Installer.

3) Save the file, and when finished downloading, run the executable. This will install the latest version of the Monetra installer. after the installation is finished, return to step #5 above and continue.
