Uninstalling and Reinstalling Oracle

Before reinstallation, ensure Oracle is completely uninstalled by following these steps:

2. Verify the Following Windows Configurations Are Set Up Correctly:

  • Log in using the Local Administrator account in the operating system.
  • Ensure Windows 10 or 11 Pro is installed; Home edition is not supported.
  • Clear the %TEMP% folder.
  • Disable Firewall.
  • Disable User Account Control (UAC) and restart the system.
  • Disable the Antivirus or Windows Defender.
  • Disable Smart App Control.
  • Disable Reputation-based protection.
  • Under Exploit protection, disable the following options:
    • Control Flow Guard: Turn Off
    • Data Execution Prevention (DEP): Turn Off
  • Thoroughly clean the registry, folders, and files to ensure no remnants remain.
  • Apply all pending Windows updates.
  • Restart the system.

 

Reinstall Oracle:

Proceed with the reinstallation of Oracle once the above steps are completed.
