Installing CodeSite

What is Codesite?

The CodeSite Logging System is an application that gives a user or developer insight into how their code is executing, which enables them to locate problems more quickly and ensure their applicatoin is running correctly. CodeSite's logging classes let developers capture all kinds of information while their code executes and then send that information to a live display or to a log file.
 

Install CodeSite application:

Step 1: Launch Code Site Installer program.

• ProgramData\RetailPro\Server\Downloads\CS5_Tools.exe
• To start the installer, select Next.

Step 2: Accept the terms of the license agreement, and select Next.

Step 3: Choose Destination folder for the program files, and select Next.

Step 4: Select Tools. 

• Apply the following settings, then select Next.
   

Step 5: Select Dispatcher User Interface Mode: Unrestricted, and Select Next.

Step 6: Select Next again to finish installation. Once the installation is finished, select Finish.

 

Launch the Code Site dispatcher:

CodeSite Dispathcer is the workhorse of the CodeSite Logging System, and is responsible for dispatching CodeSite logging messages to their final destination while it runs silently in the background.

Step 1: Once installation is complete, launch the Code Site dispatcher by going to 
Program Files (x86)\Raize\CS5\Bin\CSDispatcher.exe
