Comments

Comments are text strings (max 60 characters) that you can enter on POS transactions, vouchers, slips and memos to provide additional information. You can define comments for vouchers and slips in Prism preferences. You cannot define comments for POS Transactions or adjustment memos in Prism preferences. In Prism 1.14.7 and earlier, comments defined in V9 preferences are copied to Prism during initialization (and will be available for selection in dropdowns).
Comments on POS Transactions
Enter comments on POS transactions in Transaction Details button on the General tab.
Comments on Vouchers
Define comments for vouchers in Admin Console > Node Preferences > Purchasing > Comments. Voucher comments must be set at the Subsidiary level.
The comments defined in preferences will be available for selection on vouchers in Voucher Details on the Comments tab. You can add new comments (ones not defined in preferences) or remove comments if needed.
Comments on Adjustment Memos
Enter comments on adjustment memos in Slip Details. Click the Add button, enter the comment text and save.
Comments on Transfer Slips
Define comments for slips in Admin Console > Node Preferences > Transfers > Comments. Slip comments must be set at the Subsidiary level.
The comments defined in preferences will be available for selection on transfer slips in Slip Details on the Comments tab. You can add new comments (ones not defined in preferences) or remove comments if needed.
Database tables
Comments are stored in the Prism database in the ADJ_COMMENT, COMMENT, SLIP_COMMENT and  VOU_COMMENT tables.
