Employee - UDF Fields

Employee user-defined fields enable retailers to capture employee information that is not available in the predefined employee fields that come with Prism. With UDFs, you define a field label and a list of field values that will be available for selection. Prism provides the following user-defined fields for employee records:

Date UDF 1 - Date UDF 2
Text UDF 1 - Text UDF 18
Long Text UDF 1 - Long Text UDF 2

To add a UDF field entry, in the UDFs Naming area, navigate to the desired UDF and type a label. Press the key. A green toast displays to indicate the label was saved successfully. Select the UDF label you created in the UDF Options drop down.
Click the "plus sign" button to define a new UDF value. Type the text for the UDF option and then click the check mark button to save.

To view or edit employee UDFs, display the employee record and click the UDF tab. If UDF fields are defined in preferences, they will be displayed.
